In her life as a history professor, Tarah Brookfield embraces footnotes, feminism, and academic rigor. As a writer of speculative fiction, she makes the impossible sounds plausible. More often than not, she can be found listening to show tunes, obsessing over corgis, adding novels to her teetering “to read” pile, and deciding which movies are worth paying a babysitter to see in the theatre. She lives in Paris, Ontario with her husband, daughter, fluffy corgi, and guinea pig.
